After the show, retreat to peaceful Bloomsbury for a quiet night’s sleep—this neighborhood is known for its calm, leafy streets. King’s Cross Station is just a 15-minute walk away, making late-night rides or next-day getaways simple. While check-in is from 15:00, the 24-hour front desk makes late arrivals stress-free.

While there’s no 24/7 room service, the neighborhood has plenty of nearby eateries open late. Breakfast is available, perfect for slow mornings after a late night out.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that the rooms can be a bit compact, especially for those traveling with lots of gear. Others noted that while the hotel is well-located, it’s not in the heart of the nightlife scene—though many see this as a plus after a loud gig.

Poor. Bumped out of hotel

Liked: Despite checking in at 10am when returned to the hotel at 11pm they had given away my room and moved me to another hotel. The new room was spacious but had not air conditioning and was unbearably hot. Not happy with being bumped hotels and not happy with the new room
Disliked: No aircon and being bumped to a different hotel despite booking a checking in at original

Very good

Liked: The staff were very attentive and happy to help
Disliked: Some staff must have been new and didn't have a clue about basics such as booking a table

Catastrophic: my room had been...

Liked: The location is great and the rooms are also quite large, especially the executive twin room I had booked.
Disliked: Well, I didn’t get the room I had booked because the hotel had double-booked it. I was given a key and when entering the room, there was someone else’s luggage in there. I had booked a twin executive room, and when I reported that the room was obviously occupied by someone else, I was given another room. However, to our dismay upon entering the room, we noticed only one king size bed instead of the two queen size I had booked. The room was substantially smaller. I was charged the full price I had agreed to pay for the room I didn’t get in the end. When asking for a partial refund when checking out, I was mildly shoved out the door and told to refer to booking.com. The staff could not provide a sofa bed for my friend, only a second blanket was possible. While the staff remained friendly throughout, they offered little to no help. That I was not given a partial refund was quite brazen, though.

Disappointed

Liked: Location is quiet but 9 minute walk to the underground.
Disliked: Room had lots of wear and tear. Mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. WiFi was spotty. Felt a little grimy for the price point.

Staff should be ashamed of...

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: On arrival, we were left sitting for half an hour, while our ‘room was sorted out’. Half an hour later it emerged that there was no room for us, despite booking months in advance. Communication from staff was disgraceful, and after sitting for a long time we were told a taxi was coming to take us elsewhere, despite us having no knowledge or having given no consent for this. We were told we would have to pay for the new hotel, and it would be after our trip was over before we could expect a refund. No other compensation was offered. Then the hotel we were brought to, despite being reassured it was the same standard we had paid for, had no knowledge of our arrival and no suitable rooms. We found accommodation ourselves elsewhere. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Good location

Liked: The location was ideal for us and the area nice and quiet
Disliked: The room was small and in a poor condition and in need of redecorating and/or a deep clean. There were marks on the walls and the headboard didn’t look very clean. The bathroom was very tired.
