very disappointing experience

Disliked: the room was small and the outlook was bleak and covered by blinds and this was apparently an upgrade bathroom wasn’t particularly clean bar closed early bar staff ignored you at the bar and had to make yourself known to get servedshame because we chose this hotel from the description and location would have been perfect for our stay for the Kings CoronationI wouldn’t recommend or stay again

Liked: The rooms are small and cramped. The place smells old and dusty. Linen (towels were very old and had a bad odor)
Disliked: Cleanliness. Noisy. If anyone walks in the floors above or on the corridor there is a lot of noise.

Great base to explore London...

Liked: Friendly helpful staff, great access to transport, great breakfast, close to parkland and cafes. Rooms clean and good shower.
Disliked: Room was too cramped for a couple travelling with luggage.

Character and location balance out...

Liked: The reception and waiting area is beautiful! Fantastic location next to Hyde park.
Disliked: My room felt a bit like a dungeon. Window provided beautiful view out onto the drainage system on wall opposite.

Liked: this was our first time in London and the location was incredible and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating! We will definitely be back.

perfect for three ladies on...

Liked: the decor in the room was fitting to the period of the building , complimentary chocolates and wine fit for the king.
Disliked: nothing it was perfect the lily Langtry suite was amazing!

Disliked: the rooms are quite small but you do know when you book . the second day of our stay we had builders right outside our window which we weren’t informed about beforehand,
