Disliked: There were extremely loud parties both nights that we stayed, where the music was so loud the floor was vibrating. We were unable to sleep until the music stopped. We got ear plugs from the reception but these didn’t help that much. We treated our family to a stay in a nice hotel, so we were a bit disappointed. We also had a room where the window looked directly into a wall.

A lovely couple of nights

Liked: Very central; beautiful hotel excellent breakfast and evening meal. Had asked for three separate beds, but room had two doubles. No tea or coffee making facilities in room or on floor 4; no complimentary water/ nibbles - excellent selection- to purchase….

Liked: Room was big and had a character of its own. Great location and great food. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The light switch was not working properly, and the room was a bit too dark. Some stuff were falling apart. It was an old building so it might need a serious renovation now.

The Grand Hotel was grand...

Liked: Breakfast was really good! The location near the train station met our needs.
Disliked: The bed, which was supposed to be queen sized, was a narrow double bed. We did fine, but it was not what we expected.
