Grand Hotel Cape May

This hotel isn't bad, but...

Liked: Location of the hotel is by far one of the best aspects. It's right across the street from the beach and offers cabanas and public restrooms in proximity.
Disliked: I was very disappointed in the fact that the hotel advertised an indoor pool plus an outdoor pool and an indoor arcade none of which were up to standards. Despite being technically in season, the outdoor pool was closed due to construction and re-facing. The interior pool was so chlorinated that no one was swimming in it, and my eyes were burning just from stepping into the room. The indoor arcade had seven games only one of which were working some were broken or jammed somewhere weren't even turned on. So I selected this hotel because I wanted to take advantage of the pools, but unfortunately we're unable to use either of them. As for the rooms, even the ocean view suite on the fourth floor, barely met the requirement of a suite. The flatscreen TVs were very old. The bed was uncomfortable and the "kitchen suite." was extremely small.
