Excellent stay!

Liked: Wonderful hotel, friendly staff and nice bedroom.
Disliked: The bench outside in the courtyard is next to the smoking bin and people smoke also outside the front entrance people smoke at the door. My advice for another non-smoking outdoor seating seating area and non-smoking sign outside the front entrance.

Bathroom facilities are not operational...

Liked: Location is perfect.
Disliked: Showers with leaking, broken.

Good stay

Liked: The room was nice and clean. Francisc from the reception is very nice and friendly. The location is great, a little bit away from the Markt but in a very nice place on the canal.
Disliked: The hotel looks a bit outdated. It could use some improvements. The breakfast wasn’t great. For those who like English breakfast I guess it’s good, but for vegetarians not too many options and also just a few vegetables.

Liked: The location was amazing. The rooms were super clean and quiet. We used the wellness center which was clean but a bit limited in terms of facilities. Still, we were the only ones there and it was relaxing. I liked that it was even open at 23:00 in the evening.
Disliked: The facilities and the furniture were a bit old but doesnt matter too much. The breakfast staff were nice but a bit loud with crashing plates etc.

Liked: Large spacious room with good heating system when it was cold and also had a room safe.Slightly away from the crowds in the centre,so it suited us, but close enough to be able to see the sights. Good WiFi and plenty of choice for breakfast. We were offered the environmentally friendly option of not having the room serviced every day which gave us a free drink each day - nice after a day out and about.We had booked this at the last minute following a problem at another property (host broke shoulder) and it was Easter, so paid double what we had already booked, but it was still worth.
Disliked: The safe lock was getting loose inside the safe door, with a risk of it falling into the sealed door, so I reported it to reception.The shower is fine in terms of temperature and pressure, but the shower screen is too small so water sprays everywhere if you are not careful. You have to face the shower head into the corner to reduce the amount of overspray, but the shower head may then rotate under pressure and spray across the bathroom. We had to have minimal showers to avoid making maximum spillage . . .
