Location location location. Great value...

Liked: The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. The staff are lovely and really helpful. Room was dated but clean and exactly what was portrayed on the photos so it wasn’t a surprise. We didn’t realise a basic breakfast was included and although we mainly ate out it was nice to be able to grab a coffee / juice in the morning if we wanted so that was a bonus. Pool is small but pleasant. They lend you body boards / chairs / towels for the beach. Given how expensive it is to stay on Coronado it’s exceptional value for the location. We paid for 7 nights what 3 at the Del across the road would have cost us.
Disliked: The bed cover (duvet) might be a British thing but I prefer one that keeps the duvet inside it and isn’t open on all sides.

Overall, the location is what...

Liked: The location is excellent just across the street from Hotel Del Coronado. Walkable town and easy access to the beach. Our room is located on the 2nd floor. While we were resting in bed after we checked-in, our headboard and wall started shaking for at least 20 minutes.
Disliked: Our room is on the 2nd floor and below us is where the laundry room is located. We weren’t informed that our room may experience some shaking when washing machines are running. For what I paid for the room, over $400.00/night, I would have not stayed in the room. Breakfast is included but nothing special. We got there around 8:30 and no refill on coffee and main breakfast such as eggs and sausages yet.

A Delightful Stay at a...

Liked: We have enjoyed the Glorietta Bay Inn on six previous occasions, and this was the best by far. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and they treated us with a room upgrade and a bottle of wine. We enjoy the location, the very friendly service,the complimentary breakfast and the very comfortable beds. It is always a treat to stay at the GBI!
Disliked: Nothing!
