Couldn't find anything to fault our stay. Staff were excellent and very helpful.
Liked: A very enjoyable experience.
Disliked: No negative feedback.

Liked: Bed and pillows very comfortable Bathroom good and well supplied
Disliked: Obscene price for Grants whisky at £70 at a dinner Breakfast fairly standard; not very impressive. Still no red bush or "rooibus" tea....after years of requesting it!

Liked: Staff overall very helpful, facilities clean and comfortable. Very quiet room
Disliked: Long wait for bar meal (over 1/2 hour) meant we had to rush our meal to get to the concert

Disliked: I booked the hotel for my parents to spend the night at on Saturday 22nd February. They arrived to check in but were told they needed a debit/credit card. They only had cash and were advised that unless they produced a card, the room would be cancelled and my card would be charged accordingly. I was abroad at the time, spoke to an assistant and explained that this was the hotel policy. I have booked many a hotel via booking.com and never had to go through this rigmarole before. In the end, my parents had to get a friend to come all the way to Glasgow via train to produce a card and allow them to check in for the night. Their stay at the hotel was fine, however the whole drama and stress of having their special day potentially ruined left them and myself very frustrated and annoyed. I plan to review on trip advisor too.
