Glasgow Argyle Hotel BW Signature Collection

Stay was really pleasant; room had plenty of space; very clean; staff all friendly. Would stay there again and recommend the hotel to others.

Liked: The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The rooms were large and well equipped.The service was fast and efficient and the food was good.In general the hotel was really lovely.
Disliked: The pool. area was nice and clean but as there were swimming lessons taking place both days this left very little room to swim and many guests were using the facilities. Also the sauna was not working.

Well worth a visit!

Liked: Good location, in close proximity to the city centre. Our room was spotless, and we really enjoyed the pool, swim, steam room and gym facilities on both days of our stay. Well worth the room rate - the best jacuzzi we have ever been in! Staff were very friendly and welcoming, also helpful with small queries.
Disliked: The room was too hot in the evening, despite the heater being off. We had a fan on from the wardrobe for most of the night. There was a small unit also in the wardrobe which looked like an air con/heater combination unit but we didn’t fancy the potential noise as it was late. The toilet paper was very cheap and thin, just the next ply up would make so much difference. The lift to our floor was at the side of the bar - the bar was very busy on an evening and full of guests queuing and blocking the way to the lift which was a little inconvenient, didn’t seem to be very well laid out for access.

Liked: The hotel decor was beautiful and the room had many windows. The staff helped us out when the AC wasn’t working and quickly took us to a new room where one was working. They were very helpful!
Disliked: It was a bit far from restaurants, the bathroom was a bit dated.

Not a poor hotel but...

Liked: Excellent Breakfast, bar is not open throughout the day, i was informed by email i could park in q park multi storey with a discount (which was generous). However on arrival i found the hotel to have paid parking on site! Also informed no late checkout, yet advertised at check in. Reception happy to book taxis for me, everyone very friendly.
Disliked: Check in was slow, pool was crowded., rooms are noisey.
