I prefer to stay in a small hotel like Gild Hall. The ambiance is charming, the bar comfortable and the servers very friendly.
Liked: My room was most comfortable and immaculate.
Disliked: When I asked about morning coffee, a coffee maker was brought to my room.

Liked: This hotel is a gem. It is one of the most cozy hotels I have ever stayed in. The customer service provided by the staff is great and it provides a great escape from the craziness of NYC. Every time you walk in to the hotel, you are greeted with a unique scent that welcomes you back. It is quiet and tucked away from the rest of the city which allows for a great night of rest.
Disliked: The lack of privacy in how the bathroom is designed within the room is unfortunate. This is not an issue if you are staying alone, but if you are with someone it is a real issue.
