I prefer to stay in a small hotel like Gild Hall. The ambiance is charming, the bar comfortable and the servers very friendly.
Liked: My room was most comfortable and immaculate.
Disliked: When I asked about morning coffee, a coffee maker was brought to my room.

Liked: Friendly professional staff. rooms are relatively spacious from NY standard but don't expect.
Disliked: Don't compare and judge new york hotels with any other location hotel. 4 starts in NY may not be equal to 2-star hotels if you are traveling from mid states. The location was very central but it was too congested in a narrow alley and crowded place if you driving it will be a nightmare to get to the property that does not even park to just check-in. Tiny Lobby and seems like

Liked: They were very accommodating with a late check out. Love the way breakfast is setup there. The staff was very friendly.
Disliked: The only thing we didn't like that the room wasn't stocked with enough towels for the minimum of 4 guests like places normally do.

Exceptional front desk service.
Liked: I like we were greeted by a Robert so warmly. and given a nice room. He wished us a happy 30th anniversary. He helped us with a few special requests like a coffee machine. Robert got to know us a little when he checked us in by engaging in conversation about our stay. The hotel has old English charm. Warm worn leather furniture. It met all our needs. The housekeeping did a great job refreshing the room up and turn down. The overnight front desk service was excellent on Monday night she called around for restaurants that were open late so we could grab a drink and meal. She really went out of her way to help. She was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. We opted for the breakfast plan it was delicious. We had the American breakfast one morning fresh quality ingredients and the bagel sandwich the next day. They even offer avocado toast. It came with a great beverage choice. But a little bit of glitches when ordering. You have to order each breakfast in a separate compete order. The Butler delivery service was great. Angel I believe checked us out he was awesome as well. The stay was lovely. The Gild really wanted to make our stay exceptional in any way they could. There?s a great deli/grocery store called Jubilee one block away with fantastic selections including snacks, sandwiches and soup open 24/7. The gild had plenty of wet/dry snack too. Parking was $65 either valet or self park and very safe and courteous about parking the car.
