Excellent hotel, great food, friendly...

Liked: Beautiful setting in well kept gardens. Well presented public areas with great decor and a few architectural gems. Tried hard to properly accommodate my gluten free needs.
Disliked: Nothing. Some updating needed here & there but don’t change too much!

Pleasant

Liked: Clean and had the basic comforts.
Disliked: Outdated, nothing special and probably not value for money. It is a great location and the outdated and basic facilities did not contribute to that feeling. It has great potential if it rises to the standard .

A lovely evening in the...

Liked: It is a lovely property set in a beautiful garden. All the staff was very welcoming.Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and very good value for money. And they make their own ice cream! So rare!Breakfast was good and the real treat is that they make their own bread. Also very rare! I wish more hotels could offer such a treat.

A pleasurable experience with stunning...

Liked: The staff were fantastic. They were attentive to my needs and even catered to my dietary requirements. The grounds were fabulous and the food was great. I even borrowed toothpaste from one of the team because I’d forgotten mine! 10/10 customer service.
Disliked: The room I was in could do with an update as some of the furniture was in need of a revamp. The only reason I’m not giving them 10/10 overall!
