Good location and value for...

Liked: Very friendly staff
Disliked: The shower was dated, needed re-caulking. The lights would go off, as if they were on some sort of timer. This happened in the setting room abd bathroom.

Liked: Central location downtown and the rooms were nice.
Disliked: Seemed a bit dystopian in a sense and eerie walking down the hallways. The front desk older woman around 50 years old was very rude and inconsiderate. However all of the cleaning staff and valet was very nice and helpful.

Wonderful staff and amazing room

Liked: Merry is so friendly and passionate. The room is much bigger than we thought and all facilities are well maintained. The location is so good. And also we enjoyed the time when visiting the roof.

Great front desk attention

Liked: The attention of the front desk by Merry, and the blonda guy who helped with my lugagge. They are both very Kind With the guests. They Made me feel home.

Pleasant

Liked: location is nice and suited my needs for a conference that took place in the conference center
Disliked: the hotel is old, and the room that i stayed in was not in good condition. the bathroom needs complete renovation. the windows did not block the noise from outside. the mattress was bad and the hotel could not provide for a thick blanket so it was rather cold at night. the hotel definitely does not justify the price.

Very outdated hotel, clean but...

Liked: Location is very good cause it is right in the action in the gaslamp district (at the same time not so good since you hear the music from the clubs nearby and people partying since the bars and clubs have big outdoor areas and the city does not regulate noice levels sadly as they should) … location is very good tho also because it is very close to the conference center and Harbour. The place was very clean too. Staff super friendly.
Disliked: This is sadly a topic with many hotels in the USA: very outdated and tired facilities, appliances from the early 2000s everywhere and pretty beaten up, walls and carpets very tired looking, bathrooms not up to current standard, general facilities also super outdated. Then the price per night is not that much lower than a big chain hotel and also not lots of amenities offered. Might as well pay a little more and stay at a more known chain hotel that has been recently renovated or newly build. Not really great value for money at the end.
