Future Inn Plymouth Hotel

Very welcoming. Room excellent- couldn't believe it is actually a budget hotel. Will use in future whenever I can.

The Future Inn offered good value; staff were friendly and welcoming; I enjoyed the short stay; would recommend.

Needs a refurb and adjust...

Disliked: Old decor, uncomfortable beds, no fridge in room, expensive breakfast.

Poor service and rude staff

Liked: The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Could have done with a fan or something because it was absolutely baking.
Disliked: I didn't feel like staff were that bothered with guests. When I went for breakfast, there wasn't a single member of staff. The queue was getting quite long. Once I sat down, I made my way over to the buffet and the food had not been replenished. The cereal table was almost empty, the continental chiller was empty apart from a sad slice of pineapple and a couple of slices of what looked like salami. The hot buffet was basic, as expected, but they're were no eggs or bacon, and no staff around to ask. I also couldn't find cutlery and there was no one around to ask. And as for the poor man on a mobility scooter who asked for poached eggs, I was disgusted at the way he was treated and spoken to. Being told to sit down and stop complaining because the staff member didn't want to poach any eggs. Luckily, when i checked out he was at the desk making a complaint. This was my first stay here, and I won't be returning.

All ways a good stay...

Liked: The beds were comfy The breakfast was nice The new USB plug by the bed
Disliked: The phone didn't work The room could use a bit of work ( some wallpaper was hanging of in a few places and they was signs of water damage on the ceiling)TVs could do with a update to some sort of smart TV for when you won't to unwind
