Liked: Great amenities. Very nice restaurant, cocktail bar, and roof deck with a bar and nightclub all on site. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Superb

Liked: The room was big, comfortable and very clean. The location was perfect.
Disliked: There was an issue and we didn't have warm water one evening. It was fixed before the next morning, but it would be a nice gesture from the hotel to offer us a coffee or breakfast the following morning.

Beautiful hotel with small rooms...

Liked: It was quaint. Very clean and nice. Loved the artwork and the feeling of home in the room.
Disliked: No ice machines or access to ice except when the restaurant was open.

Hotel for ease of travel...

Liked: The location was perfect, although the 23rd street construction made for a very loud room. The housekeeping staff was lovely as was the gentleman at the door.
Disliked: The front desk staff was lackadaisical upon our arrival, with barely a greeting or offer of assistance. Not a great first impression, although other staff made up for their lack of enthusiasm

Central to everything, Freehand Hotel...

Liked: The room was very comfortable! Beds were comfy, room smelled nice and clean, and even though we stayed in one of the smaller rooms, the amenities were great and it was roomy enough for what we needed! The AC was wonderful and worked perfectly whenever we needed to make adjustments. The service was extraordinary - Brandon was SUPER kind and offered tons of help and great advice! Front desk was wonderful at all times of the day! Grateful for front desk waters offered for guests.
Disliked: The only thing I feel would have made this the ultimate experience would have been better lighting so that I could get ready for my time out in the city. The lighting throughout the room was good, but pretty dark in the corner where I needed the long mirror for makeup and getting dressed. But other than that, everything else was wonderful! Great use of the space!

Great hotel

Liked: Really great location and lovely hotel. The room was very nice, the bathroom was particularly good. The bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: No tea making facilities in room. That was literally the only downside.
