Foxfields Country Hotel

was great to have seperate bedroom and living space. toilet plumbing very bad in room 107, so had to move although staff where helpful. gym very small but ok, pool and steam/sauna rooms nice. food was average, staff helpful, grounds and location very good.

Disliked: The bed was very uncomfortable it could definitely do with a nee mattress

Very good

Liked: Tranquillity, yet not too far away from 2 major cities. Dinner was exceptional, staff impeccable. Plenty on parking, grounds very relaxing with running-water garden features. Good size swimming pool with a deep end of about 1.6 metres, sauna & Steam room. Also had a small cardiovascular type gym (I personally didn't use, though rest of my family did). Many outdoor seating areas (including some rooms having their own verandas).
Disliked: Having to leave! (to normal life)

Very nice place to come...

Liked: Staff very helpful, room was really nice and spacious, loved being able to step right out onto the front patio from the sliding window in the main room, nice to have a seperate bath and shower. Lots of options for food and drinks at the hotel restaurant.
Disliked: Room looked a little bare, furniture slightly old. Only one egg and one hash brown for breakfast!
