Four Stars Hotel

4 star more like 1...

Liked: The staff was lovely and checked us in with ease. And that's about it...
Disliked: The entire room had creaky floors from ours to other rooms, making it too noisy, and we struggled to sleep. The shower was terrible. It would randomly go from cold to warm and vice versa. We had a window with a balcony, which was nice but not till it linked to the other guest room, which they could literally go into our room, especially because only one of our two locks were working.

Disliked: Room was on top floor, no lift with spiral design stairs a bit unsafe for some people to climb up. Room was very small as well. Room was dirty. Shower sprinkle is full of mold-like dirt. The water temperature is cold. Worst thing is after 2days of staying at the hotel I’ve noticed some bed bug bites on my body which is not nice at all.

Should have booked a travelodge

Liked: The location is fantastic
Disliked: Given that I’ve paid the same for a travelodge on many occasions, this hotel was clearly lacking. It was dark and dingy and even though it wasn’t noticeably dirty, felt it. The room was cramped and the beds were more like camp beds as opposed to being items of furniture. Wouldn’t want to spend any more than an overnight stop as not even tea making facilities

Liked: Clean - I had a tiny room but with street view so could open windows Bedside light or tv not working eventually got a fan that functioned Staff were helpful and not far to Paddington metro and rail station
Disliked: Reception area needs work - very unwelcoming with nowhere to sit while waiting - outside signage needs brightening up - looks shabby

Disliked: Hottest hotel room I've ever been in. The window didn't open. Plus springs in bed were sticking out

Passable for a overnight stay.

Liked: I stayed in a cupboard. Barely room to swing a cat. Shower however was lovely but everything dated and a little tatty. Location so useful for Paddington and the Heathrow Express.
Disliked: Small touches to the room and a small update could have made such a difference
