Liked: Good location. Free parking.
Disliked: The bed was large and we kept tripping over it. Small bathroom. Specific smell in the hotel.

Liked: Good location-no breakfast offered.
Disliked: -Had difficulty opening the room door. I had to call Sounder to get the hack-"Pull the door tight while putting in the number. " It's not cool. You should fix the door and get a new lock or door. View of garbage station out the only window.

Disliked: The air conditioner was set too high! Having a store or restaurant would add to the charm of this hotel.

Short stay

Liked: Reasonable, appeared as advertised.Bathroom was small but clean. Contact free checkin
Disliked: Stains on the carpet and had a funny smell. Bed was a little uncomfortable. If you have a low ridding vehicle, the garage will scratch up the front.

Liked: Small room, very nicely fitted out, free parking, very friendly staff, nice entrance lobby with pool table. Very good security

Decent budget hotel in the...

Liked: The lobby area of the hotel is nice. It’s relatively updated and has plenty of space to work if that’s something you need during your visit. Entry into the building was secure and easy. We didn’t have any trouble with noise and the room had everything we needed.
Disliked: The hotel itself is old. It’s covered in this old, outdated carpet and the room was very humid despite the weather being quite cool outside (60s) during our stay. This conveys to me that the building is old, has poor insulation, and hasn’t been renovated in a long time. It’s not worse than a 3 star hotel though certainly no better. The location is also why you’re paying a lot less than alternatives in Santa Monica which can certainly get $$$. There’s not really anything around - there’s a Starbucks that you can walk to within 5 mins, everything else is more like a 15 min walk.
