Liked: Beautiful setting very quiet
Disliked: Everything was fine

Liked: The spa facilities.
Disliked: The showers wasn’t very nice in the changing room. Loads of water on the floor. The floor in the restaurant was very dirty. For such a nice place a quick swipe in between breakfast and lunch. I understand you can’t clean when restaurant being used, but it was quite bad. Even customers next to us noticed as well.

Staff and rooms very good...

Liked: Location was very good in immaculate grounds.
Disliked: The pool area was good but was looking tired and chaded.The dining area needed a few more staff the young men waitering the tables did well but there inexperience showed, apart from that the hotel was good.

Served a purpose but won’t...

Liked: Friendly staff. Handy location
Disliked: No toiletries , had to ask, hard bed. Even harder pillows. Breakfast not brilliant. Cold items out in open with flies landing on them, scrambled eggs looked like soup. No cups on table so waiter didn’t bring coffee had to ask and take cups from other table. People slamming doors at 0230 shouting/ swearing in corridor. It just appeared to be a vary expensive “ travel lodge” nothing special.

Liked: Location good , breakfast good .
Disliked: Staff inconsistent in policy on when a paying guest staying for 5 nights in the suit asked for a cappuccino and the first breakfast experience it was not a problem. The second breakfast we were advised that it’s not possible to serve one as we have to pay for it , and go and wait for it to be made in the other bar area / reception area !!!!! We politely said to the staff member that the day before it was not an issue !! She then proceeded to get us a cappuccino. The third breakfast it was an out and out NO you cannot have a cappuccino and if you wanted one it’s fully chargeable ?!?! Note I stay in many hotels throughout this Country and indeed the world and it frustrates me and fellow guests when this request for a cappuccino in the morning is denied or an unprofessional approach as above. Why doesn’t the hotel charge an extra 20 p per guest as a standard ( to professionally deal with this I must say embarrassing stance of your hotel hotel simply add 20 p to every guests bill which will more than cover a large percentage of of guests wishing to have a cappuccino for breakfast and does not make them feel they are staying in a below par hotel!!

Liked: The outside area was lovely looking out over the golf course
Disliked: Breakfast was awful, it was very unorganised, there wasn’t enough food… cooked, fruit, bread pastries all ran out. The staff didn’t know where to find things,I asked for a spoon but the waiter went off and never came back I had to wait for my husband to finish with his. The cups on the table weren’t properly clean. You had to wait ages to be served tea and coffeeThe pool area was in need of some refurbishing
