Convenient for theatreland/Covent Garden with enough eating places in the vicinity to make up for no food facilities in the hotel.

Liked: Good sized room (number 42) with adequate coffee and tea supplies; large bathroom was bright and airy.

Love London will never use...

Disliked: Never stay in Room 42! Towel rail doesnt switch off, windows dont open and aircon very noisy. Also staff quite rude when you try to tell them you have not been happy with your stay.

Excellent hotel

Liked: Lovely friendly hotel. The manager was so helpful in showing me where to find thecplaces I was going. Very convenient and tucked away so quiet as well. I had a small single room on the second floor but it was elegantly styled with a good quality bed.I will be booking again!

Would stay again , but...

Liked: Good hotel, within walking distance of where we needed to be. Staff were very friendly
Disliked: Mattresses were a bit lumpy, curtains didn’t close properly and a very noisy air on, even when it was turned on

A little Gem of a...

Liked: Nice to be recognised as a returning customer. The manager is very kind. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location to the Opera House is brilliant. There is also a pub close by as well as several cafe's and restaurants.
Disliked: They need to warn you about the step just inside the door of room 1; I tripped and fell(!)

Nice hotel, excellent staff, excellent...

Liked: Staff were excellent. Contact prior to visiting days was excellent. At hotel really friendly and nothing too much trouble . We could t have asked for a better location. I did do my homework but it was better than expected.
Disliked: Having a refreshment facility even if via reception request would have been nice ( even though coffee and tea in the room. It did look a tad tired in places but it was an innercity hotel. One thing that I did find questionable was I requested a downstairs room due to mobility issues and the bathroom was on a lower level with 3 stairs to get to it. OK it was manageable but worthy of note. If I had been less mobile it could have been an issue
