Excellent hotel in a lovely...

Liked: Very nice location. Garden and surrounding area beside the hotel is great. Very peaceful and quiet. Staff very good. Food good.
Disliked: Nothing.

Ferrari "s country house

Liked: Location and grounds
Disliked: Inadequate staff. Room was cold, and no radiator in bathroom. Had to move to another room. Shower controls rubbish. The whole place was tired and needed a lot of TLC. Breakfast poor

Very enjoyable and good stopover...

Liked: Location was great and they were both able to accommodate my dog and there was a great track for dog walks from the back of the property. We did a couple of circular walks on arrival and leaving. Nice to have the evening meal option as well. Room was very pleasant and quiet.
Disliked: Only two issues - firstly the satnav takes you to the wrong place and secondly the eye were quite difficult to get hold of. I had to ring a few times to get through

Liked: Delightful location in the paddocks. Quiet after a long haul flight. Beautiful gardens and history of building. Meals fabulous.delightful

Disliked: difficult to locate from the A6, the decor was tired, bedside light was not working, a general air of needed a makeover

An excellent and interesting facility...

Liked: obviously focussed on hosting weddings but the room was very acceptable, food was very good and staff helpful & friendly
Disliked: was a little off the track for our journey
