Disliked: leaking gas into run down cabin with old wore out matress and furniture. Near gas poisoned and was chastised for not reporting sooner. Thought at 1st just fowl musty cabin. Maintenance found leak & turned it off. Owner refuses to address it with us.

In the woods!

Liked: This was our second time at Fern River, this time renting a multi room unit. It was AWESOME. Right on the river. Heater warm enough. Quiet quiet enough. Amazing area to discover, especially the special Henry Cowell State Park.
Disliked: A few more days to stay!

Liked: The location is wonderful - peaceful and not too far from San Jose.They had little personal touch with having coffee maker and some dishes and glasses in the room. Also, I do respect the hotels where they provide shampoo and shower gel in large refillable containers which helps to reduce the use of plastic.
Disliked: N/A

Liked: Nice place. Clean. Good setup. Was lucky to use the outdoor kitchen
Disliked: Poor WiFi. Shower challenging to setup temperature wise .
