Excellent one-night stay

Liked: Charming old property; something different. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Large room. Comfy bed. We had dinner, which was good value and very tasty and filling. Breakfast was included, but we didn't get up early enough. We were given late checkout FoC. Dog friendly.
Disliked: Nothing, really. Some bits and bobs could do with an update but in other ways that was part of the charm. The room was on the warm side and as there's no air con a plug-in fan would have been handy. A point of note: we arrived from the north and the sat nav took us a right turn on to Centurion Way and to a gate at the rear of the building. That gate was padlocked. The proper entrance is further down Stanifield Lane on the right (there's a large sign).
