Disliked: Cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms could be improved.

Lovely place to stay

Liked: Staff were very helpful and professional. Both the breakfast and evening meals were tasty, and the atmosphere was friendly.
Disliked: The room had a window which didn't open so it could be a little stuffy sometimes.

Great hotel,in excellent location, made better by excellent staff.

Liked: The lodge was very conveniently located just off the M6. The room,executive double, was more than big enough with good storage and a lovely bathroom. The bar area was great and had a decent choice of drinks. Even though the hotel had a wedding on, they accommodated our small group in a quiet room for dinner and it was excellent. What made the whole stay was the staff. They were friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. It was really nice to see a predominately young staff who appeared to enjoy their work and this came across in the experience we had.
