Liked: Disappointing
Disliked: 1- When checking-in we were informed that there's a incidental hold fee costing 200$ , and was never informed of any other additional fees .When checking-out we were informed that valet was not included and will be deducted from the incidental hold fee even though when booking the room via booking it wasn't listed as an additional fee.This is considered unprofessional ( hidden expenses) because we were not notified about this at all by anyone and will be listed in our review everywhere.2- we called for house keeping at 12:15 and still the room was not cleaned at 2:40 we had to go to the receptionist and request again and leave again so the room could be cleaned. 4-Even after asking that the room has to be cleaned one of the towels was dirty and the bed was poorly made.5-When checking out also we called and asked that the car had to be ready we were checking out that was half an hour before coming down to the reception area.Will not be repeating this visit and very disappointed indeed.

Disliked: No free wifi. Paid $500 a night and you can’t give your guests free wifi? Also it says parking included on the website, but then you are told it’s either $35 or $65 once you arrive. Just give accurate information on the website.

Great Stay!
Liked: Rooms nicely appointed. Great location with easy walking distance to everything downtown. We had a large group with multiple rooms with some coming on different days and front desk handled it professionally and efficiently (on top of a busy weekend for the city). Valet was quick getting out cars when we had to go out for events. Bar was great as well as breakfast.

Disliked: The hotel advertises a river view, but all I could see from my room were overgrown trees on the floor below mine. The mattress should have been replaced two years ago, as you could feel the springs while laying on it. The refrigerator also did not work. I had previously made a reservation to stay here again about six weeks after this stay. When checking out, I requested to cancel this reservation and be refunded. The woman at the desk told me that I would be refunded through booking.com however that was a blatant lie, because when I called Booking.com they told me that they needed authorization from the Fairmont hotel to refund me, and the Fairmont Hotel (after not returning my phone call for three days and leaving me on hold for over an hour) is refusing to refund what was promised when I was there in person. Stay away from this place.
