Great Stay!
Liked: Rooms nicely appointed. Great location with easy walking distance to everything downtown. We had a large group with multiple rooms with some coming on different days and front desk handled it professionally and efficiently (on top of a busy weekend for the city). Valet was quick getting out cars when we had to go out for events. Bar was great as well as breakfast.

Disliked: The hotel advertises a river view, but all I could see from my room were overgrown trees on the floor below mine. The mattress should have been replaced two years ago, as you could feel the springs while laying on it. The refrigerator also did not work. I had previously made a reservation to stay here again about six weeks after this stay. When checking out, I requested to cancel this reservation and be refunded. The woman at the desk told me that I would be refunded through booking.com however that was a blatant lie, because when I called Booking.com they told me that they needed authorization from the Fairmont hotel to refund me, and the Fairmont Hotel (after not returning my phone call for three days and leaving me on hold for over an hour) is refusing to refund what was promised when I was there in person. Stay away from this place.

Liked: Everything. Beautiful, clean facility. Everyone was nice and helpful. Night manager gave us a $75 credit for breakfast due to an inconvenience.
Disliked: Booked us into our son’s room. Went down to fix it and they couldn’t find our reservation. Manager finally found it but the room wasn’t ready. Came back and they tried to book us into our son’s room again. Night Manager found our reservation. Couldn’t get our card to work until the night Manager told the to click a box. Then they charged us multiple times. Then they charged us for breakfast that was comped.
