Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Tampa Fairgrounds/Casino

My friend & I had a really good time staying at this hotel. The room was nice & cozy. The only cons were that there was no fridge in the room so that was a bit of a pain and the breakfast area was very tiny and crowded. Overall, though, these cons did not effect my overall stay. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again should I visit Tampa more. :)

My experience was very good. Stayed one night for concert and everything was great.

I would definetely stay here again. The only issue we had was pickup from the concert. We probably should have verified the pickup location when they dropped us off. We walked to where they dropped us off, called the hotel and they told us to go to the pink arches near the highway. Well, we didn't know where we were going (never been there). Walked to the highway in the mud and had to argue with the hotel to pick us up at a gas station we found. The rooms were very nice, breakfast was edible, pool was good. Overall I liked the hotel minus the blip in pickup.

Liked: Good location and full refund when we left.
Disliked: Dirty, changed rooms twice and both were dirty and smelled bad. Left for a different hotel and got refunded

This visit was not good

Liked: The room was never cleaned when we left the room for the day, the toilet paper was empty, the shower body wash didn’t work, we had to use shampoo for body wash. The towels was never replaced my wife and I had to use the same towels again and again. I’m so not impressed and will NEVER come back to this hotel again

Liked: Location of hotel was a plus for us.The hotel was not crowded, enabling us to check in & out easily.The complementary breakfast was not terrible, better than expected, especially the coffee.
Disliked: I suggest updating the furnishings in the room, provide dedicated charging stations for cell phones & ipads.Provide a in-room safe deposit box.
