Isolation, ongoing construction, items falling...
Liked: The guests were pleasant and friendly. Having access to free cold water was beneficial in the heat. The TV was large and allowed for streaming. The movable desk made it easy to work from the bed. The walls were soundproof which allowed for quieter evenings. The evening staff at the hotel were pleasant. Late checkout was appreciated.
Disliked: The hotel was under renovation. When we arrived the front desk was covered in dust, dust was in the air, and active construction was happening in the "lobby."One elevator was in service. The hallways, and elevators felt did not have air conditioning. The rooms were clean but felt unfinished. The bed was lopsided. During breakfast, active construction was happening. At one point a worker was actively working above uncovered food. Additionally, while in the dining area, the can for the sprinkler fell out and missed my head by inches. When I reported it to the reception I was offered a $40 dollars credit on my stay that had already been paid for. So I did not get the $40 credit nor does it show on my receipt. The hotel has a zero walk score. It sits on an island of land between freeways, with no store or restaurants, and no ability to walk to facilities. Car services struggled to find it. If I had known the only way to access the hotel would be through a rented or hired vehicle that would have possibly changed my plans. If the hotel has a shuttle to a train station, that would have helped. However there were no nearby amenities. It is not a space I would recommend for guests who do not rent a car or plan to travel anywhere other than the airport.And to make matters even more ridiculous, they charged me as second time after I had prepaid on Bookings.com. Now we get to see how difficult it will be for them to remove the second charge. Not the first Marriott I've stayed in as a member, but definitely the least Marriott like.

Comfortable and close to the...
Liked: It was close to the airport and had a free shuttle bus. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, with plenty of seating for guests.
Disliked: The biggest issue is that they weren't able to store our luggage after we checked out, which meant we couldn't make full use of our day before our departing flight in the evening. I guess that's partly on me as I forgot to check when I booked, but it would be really good if you could add that service. There aren't a lot of options for getting a meal at night if you don't have a car. The restaurant next door was closed, unfortunately. We ended up getting a pizza delivered.The hotel is in the middle of a refurb of the foyer. I'm sure it will look great when it is done, but it looked a bit like a building site when we arrived.

Decent for one night near...
Liked: Staff we're friendly at this hotel. Okay for a night and close to the airport.
Disliked: Beds not as comfortable and on the small side for couple. Breakfast was subpar.

Waste of money and sleepiness
Liked: Dirty and no breakfast a lot of people are smoking there
Disliked: Frozen burger & coffee no appropriate breakfast. You’ll have to get your breakfast outside this place is a crap do not book from them.
