Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott New York Manhattan/Times Square

Great location, good basic hotel...

Liked: It was convenient and mostly clean. Good gym. Friendly breakfast staff and you could easily take breakfast away.
Disliked: Shower kept dripping, not too much space in room but that’s normal for New York. Breakfast was very busy. Coffee was not replaced every day so had to ask for it.

Had a wonderful time, hotel...

Liked: It was clean and very nice. The rooms were big enough to move around in. The bathroom was very nice. The great shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. I slept great.
Disliked: I noticed that the front of the building was pretty dirty. It looked like it might need a slight paint job or to at least be washed. It was white and you could see a lot of smudges, etc. on it, but otherwise it was great inside.

Liked: I was very upset to find out they charged my credit card a day before I arrived and my reservation the charge was schedule for the day of arrival.
Disliked: The long wait and line for breakfast. O. Sunday at 7 am there was a 35 minutos wait so I gave up and went out to have breakfast

Superb

Liked: The room was lovely. Comfortable bed. The staff were amazing. Theresa, maria, and all the waitresses at breakfast were fantastic, which helped us with vegan margarine and very helpful showing ingredients to make sure there is no dairy in any of the food. Lovely staff indeed would stay again.
Disliked: Lifts were very slow. Lighting in our room could of been better no central light.

Liked: Elderly short lady in breakfast area was an absolute star, helpful, happy, and the sort of employee anyone should strife to look after and keep. The person that made a difference to the stay.
