The hotel’s central setting means you’re within walking distance of many of NYC’s top concert venues and theaters, yet the side-street location helps buffer the noise for a more restful night. Nightlife Options

You're in one of NYC’s best nightlife neighborhoods. While the hotel itself doesn’t host live music, it’s steps away from Times Square, Broadway theaters, and music venues. Bars and lounges line the nearby streets, offering everything from rooftop cocktails to jazz basements. It's easy to find the right post-concert vibe.

Guests rave about the spotless rooms, friendly staff, and especially the unbeatable location near Penn Station and Times Square. Many reviewers love how easy it is to get around the city and mention the hotel as a great value for the area. The free Wi-Fi and modern decor are also frequently praised.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms can be on the smaller side—no surprise in Midtown Manhattan—but still comfortable. Some guests noted the breakfast area gets a bit crowded during peak times. If you're looking for luxury touches or expansive hotel amenities, this is more functional than fancy.

All in all I enjoyed...

Liked: The breakfast was great! Fantastic options! The hallways carpets and such were dirty and not vacuumed. Our room was not very quiet you could hear music coming from another room
Disliked: Better cleanliness could happen . The lobby had a weird smell too it . Like way too many people wearing strong perfume at the same time .

Not able to get a...

Disliked: Breakfast was way too crowded like a market, had to find something else to eat elsewhere. Sleep experience was worse than a motel. Room is small yet I can hear everything outside from the same floor, e.g. sound of door latches, people talking, door shuts. Also elavator is too slow and crowded, had to wait 5 mins + around 9am

Overall good value for money,...

Liked: Prime location 10 minute walk from Times Square and 5 minute walk from a subway station. Very comfortable bed and a great view of the city
Disliked: The lift buttons are finicky, sometimes having to be pressed 4 times before they work. The bar ran out of draught beer every night and once it ran out there was no more apparently. The hot food selection at breakfast could have been better, it was just scrambled eggs and one type of sausage per day. The seating for breakfast when the hotel is busy is a nightmare as there ain’t enough

Great family stay in the...

Liked: The hotel is at a superb location, walking distance to Times Square, Broadway and different subway stations. Staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms and the common areas are well maintained and clean. The lobby has a vibrant and cosy atmosphere, sometimes with live music.
Disliked: A big pain was the time spent waiting for the elevators, the capacity of which are nowhere near the accommodation capacity. The other annoying experience was that quite a few guests were hoarding food from the complementary breakfast (probably to save on food during their day excursion), which meant that some food was not available for other guests.

Great room!

Liked: The room was great! ULTRA CLEAN. Bed was comfy too. The room size was ok for 4 days, not big room but we knew this in advance. The room was very quiet too! Staff was helpful and kind.
Disliked: Breakfast options were limited, not so healthy. Breakfast room was extremely small for the amount of guests and we had to rush every morning to find a table. Also, they were serving in paper made plates and plastic spoons etc…

Disappointing hotel in New York

Liked: The hotel is situated in a good location, at 10 walking minutes from Times Square, and great accessibility to metro and train station. Unfortunately, the location is the only positive thing about this hotel.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the overall experience at this hotel was not good at all. The most important thing was the noisy room - which made impossible for us to sleep at all. The noise was coming from the installations in the hotel (despite we completely stop the AC) and not from outside or from other guests. This problem was not just in our room, but is a complaint raised also by other guests and was acknowledged by the hotel staff, which told us that they don't have anything to do regarding this. The second important thing was the waiting time for the elevator, which made us and also other guests like trapped into the hotel. In one occasion, we had to wait for more that 15 minutes (yes, a quarter of an hour) for the elevator to come at the 17th floor, and on a regular basis it took between 5-10 minutes in every morning for the elevator to arrive. This issue was also acknowledged by the receptionists which also they told us that they don't have anything to do for this. Another disappointing experience was the breakfast, which was extremely crowded, many of us being unable to find a seat at all, the breakfast facility being significantly under dimensioned for the hotel's size. Also, the variety of food was completely unsatisfactory, laking healthy food and vegetable options. In the second day of our stay, the room was not cleaned by the housekeeping staff, being necessary to ask at the reception in every morning to make sure that the room will be cleaned. Having in mind that we paid 371 USD per night, I can affirm without any doubts that this hotel had the worst price/quality ratio among all the hotels I've ever stayed.

Passable

Liked: Only location was good. Breakfast was awful, worst I had in a hotel. Staff was so and so. Definitely not deserving the four stars, but for a short stay is ok I guess.

Excellent trip to NYC

Liked: Location was great. Staff were very accommodating. Bar/cafe was good.Hotel has a taxi service partner inside for return to airport which was reasonable and picked up at the hotel HOWEVER be careful the rates are dynamic - so one day quoted 75 dollars two days later 95 dollars. However UBER shuttle from the airport to city was excellent at 30 dollars for three of us. Fridge in room (which was a bonus) and coffee facilities. Maids came daily.WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN ... would try to get a bigger room :-)
Disliked: Rooms were small and we were in NY for 6 days, so a bigger room would have been a benefit. There is ZERO storage for clothes - which is the big issue, we were unable to unpack - one small hanging wardrobe NO drawers/or shelves or hooks. Three people/three suitcases - we just left everything in them and opened every day. Breakfast is OK, nothing fancy (bagels, muffins pastries, teas, coffee, juices, fruit, yoghurts and some hot food (Eggs, sausage etc). It's a bit of a free for all (9am - 10am is by far the busiest) - not enough tables for the size of the hotel in my opinion. The lifts are VERY slow - it took a good 10/15 minutes to get to breakfast in a morning as only two lifts serving floors 15 - 27 and it genuinely stopped at every floor - couldn't use the stairs as we were on floor 24!
