Liked: Dear I am truly shocked and deeply disappointed by the way I was treated last night.Despite having a confirmed reservation, I was denied access to my room due to an issue with my credit card — even though a charge of $145 was processed.As a result, I was forced to spend the night outside, which is absolutely unacceptable, especially from an establishment of your standard.I am therefore cancelling my reservation effective immediately and requesting a full refund of the amount charged. I also reserve the right to report this incident to the appropriate platforms.Sincerely,

Never trying Fairfield again

Liked: The only good thing was their helpful staff member at the time of breakfast.
Disliked: Firstly, our check in was delayed when we reached (around 5pm), and the person at the reception/ front desk at the time of check-in was rude and not helpful at all. The room was super small and didn’t have a working coffee machine and iron. Request for slippers was met with a super rude NO.

Great location

Liked: The location is great, the staff was friendly, the breakfast options were good, the room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: In two of the four nights I spend there some type of alarm went off, on the second night it was the fire alarm and everyone was exiting the building in panic. I know space is an issue in NY but it was difficult to find a table during breakfast

Liked: Large room by NYC standards. Outstanding breakfast. Location near multiple subway stations. Comfy bed. Terrific shower.
Disliked: Common areas were dirty. No fridge in room. Bare bones lobby.
