Liked: Friendly staff and good location, albeit noisy.
Disliked: The room was very dark, there were limited toiletries (no moisturiser) and I was appalled at the extensive and unnecessary single use plastic items at breakfast and in the room. You should use proper cups, mugs, plates and cultery. The coffee machine was terrible. Better to have a kettle and quality tea and coffee bags. Breakfast had little to no fruit and stopped at 9am, which is not helpful for west-coast travellers.

Liked: Darren at the Front desk always had a big smile on his face and tried to help us out to make our stay more enjoyable whenever he could! Overall the employees of the hotel were extremely friendly and service-oriented, also Tina at the breakfast buffet was amazing with our little kids.
Disliked: The hotel equipment is not the newest and the rooms are quite narrow, but this is standard for a hotel in Midtown.

Liked: Location is great, very easy access to most major landmarks tourists will want to cover, as well as subway stations and bus stops close by. Staff was great, very friendly at reception. Few extras were certainly appreciated, such as the free waterbottles (as many as you need through your stay), all day availability of free coffee, tea and hot water, as well as some delicious cookies at tea time. Breakfast buffet was nice with a great mix of items, but they could change it up a bit from day to day. We stayed 7 days and the only thing that typically changed was the type of sausage. The rooftop terrace is very nice when the weather is good. Microwave is available in lobby. The hotel is on the flower street so everyday the street was lined up with beautiful plants and flowers for sale.
Disliked: Room did seem a bit cramped (room with two double beds) but probably to be expected given the prime manhattan location.
