Liked: Convenient to No. 2 tram (which goes to Central Station,... passes museums stop, etc.).
Disliked: There are too many panhandlers in the area around this hotel (asking for money).

Liked: It was clean, booking online was easy, we were in our room in under 10 minutes, and there was an airport shuttle. All good!

staff needs a Marriot lesson

Liked: nice room
Disliked: the staff handled my lost booking poorly. This is a marriott property and it felt like Motel 6 treatment. It wasnt my fault booking.com didnt send the confirmation. I showed the confirmation on my phone and the staff should have been more concerned with my night sleep instead they had me step aside, helped many customrs and only then told me it was my job to call booking.com. I ended up paying for a night sleep instead.

Great layover venue while traveling...

Liked: We stayed one night, both ways, while traveling thru CLT. This was our return trip and all went fine, about 10 minute ride from the airport and we were able to walk to a local restaurant for a late dinner.We used a ride service to travel back to the airport the following morning. NOTE that the shuttle is not available during particular morning hours dues to it's dedicated use for airline staff training.

Great solution when your CLT...

Liked: We stayed overnight in Charlotte in order to catch a very early flight the following day. The hotel is about 10 minute ride from the airport and we had no traffic issues. We used the shuttle provided to travel back to the airport. NOTE that the shuttle is not available during particular morning hours dues to it's dedicated use for airline staff training.
Disliked: Not a fan of having a room near the entry area -- it was far from the lobby from indoors but was near the exterior entry from the outdoors. It was too late at night on our arrival to bother with changes.
