Overall, it was worth the...

Liked: I had a great experience during my stay! Although the facility is currently under construction, the staff truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. They were incredibly helpful and attentive even arranged a room change for me to ensure everything was perfect. Their kindness really made a difference. Thank you for the great service
Disliked: One thing I didn’t love was that the windows were positioned close to the walls, which limited the amount of natural sunlight in the room. Other than that, I appreciated the service and hospitality!

The Fairfield Inn by Marriot...

Liked: The room itself although small was comfortable and clean - cleaned daily - set in a good location with easy access to places. A pat on the back for the staff who were great, really friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The breakfast choice didn't meet my expectations and there was very limited seating for guests. At peak times there could be an extended wait for an elevator.

Liked: Reasonably comfortable roomMini fridge was included even if it was not in the descriptionVery convenient location, in a safe and quiet street, walking distance to metro station, battery park, wall street, One WTC and Brooklyn bridge.
Disliked: The breakfast was quite limited, especially on healthier options, and some options ran out before the closing time. Everything was served on disposable dishes and utensils, so a lot of garbage was produced.The breakfast room was very cramped for a hotel of this size.The room in the lower floors was really dark.The price was really steep for a 3 star hotel with limited amenities but I guess you pay for the location.

Liked: Location is perfect.
Disliked: During our stay at this hotel, a water pipe burst and several floors were flooded, including the one we were staying on. Unfortunately, the hotel did not provide us with another room, even though the entire floor was clearly water-damaged and unsuitable for staying. For three days, the floor was being dried with very loud industrial fans – several of which were placed right outside our door. Because of the noise, we barely slept for two nights.Despite our repeated requests, we were not offered another room, any kind of compensation, or even an apology. This kind of attitude toward guests is unacceptable. We are extremely disappointed and hope other travelers are aware that such a situation is possible. Sadly, we cannot recommend this hotel at this time.
