Disappointing, not luxury

Liked: Good central location is the only positive.
Disliked: Outdated, definitely not “luxury”. Carpet is old. The room stunk of damp with a rotten drain in the bathroom. Moved rooms after 2 nights. When I asked about the smell, housekeeping put bleach down the drain and sprayed a lot of strong chemicals. Which did nothing to fix the problem, but just overwhelmed my room temporarily with chemicals. Disappointing, as I’ve stayed in the Auckland Fable which is a lot nicer.

Liked: Great location. Lovely views of city. Bus stop to airport very close.
Disliked: First room had show over bath. Not suitable for elderly people to access. Had no problem changing rooms to a shower. No electric blankets on bed.

Liked: Sausages were barely warmed. Couldnt find bowls for cereal.Maitre D was easily frustrated by guests who couldnt provide their room number.
Disliked: Poor sound proofing in room. Could hear noises in corridor and other rooms.
