Not returning

Liked: Friendly staff and good food and good car parking
Disliked: The view from my window ....when I complained the manager wanted me to pay extra for a sea view...My view was really bad not what I had expected.Tumbled down sheds etc.Tired decor and bathroom needed upgrading plus uncomfortable beds.

Lovely place-will stay longer next...

Liked: room very comfortable, staff very helpful and food excellent. We were particularly impressed by this hotel's efforts to prevent food waste.
Disliked: the hotel was too far from the beach - it took us nearly five minutes to walk to the beach - they should move it closer!!

Disliked: Tired smelly hotel, staff who don't seem that bothered. Got the impression this is a hotel that's been neglected and is struggling.

Liked: Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.
Disliked: Rooms were dated. The bathroom was too small as was the shower. The road was narrow and there were no pavements.

Relaxation by the sea

Liked: Friendly, efficient staff. Comfortable room and bed with good ensuite facilities. Delicious food and complementary cakes in our room on arrival. Lovely light and airy lounge and spacious terrace to relax on.Great location near coastal path and Eype beach (6 minutes walk down the lane outside the hotel).Can't wait to return.
