Liked: The location and price were the deciding factor in booking this hotel. I like that there was a "mini" kitchen as a part of the room.
Disliked: Where do I start? I was so excited to find a hotel with a reasonable price and with great location for our daughter's basketball camp at Liberty. We traveled about 2 hrs and arrived around 1:30 PM. When we arrived at the hotel, I went in to see if the room was ready or close to being ready. Shelly, the front desk staff VERY RUDELY, told me that check-in is at 3 pm and the room would NOT be ready until then. I said oh, ok.. I requested an early check-in and possibly late checkout. (2pm check in and 12 pm checkout) She didn't care, never checked the computer- nothing. I thought ok.. that is policy- we can deal with it. So, after my daughters 3pm game and before the 5 pm game we drove back to the hotel to check in (way after 3pm) Once again, Shelly was at the desk. Same attitude and very, very poor customer service. I get it, we all had bad days, but this was terrible. Again, we did as she said, and gave both driver's license (both adults had to show ID- be prepared) and we checked in. The hall smelled kinda funky and the room had a faint smell- not horrible, just not great. Finally, it came time to shower and my other daughter was showering- housekeeping placed two washcloths in the room. There were 3 of us. I went to the front desk and asked for ONE washcloth and Shelly once again with her poor attitude, said it is an exchange program you bring me one and I will give you another. Finally, I had had enough.. I took the dripping wet washcloths to the desk and said here can I please get one? Shelly proceeded to tell me they only exchanged them between 5 pm and 9 pm. I lost it. I told her that I didn't appreciate her attitude and I was done! She said I didn't have an attitude and argued with me. Before that incident, she was arguing with the DoorDash man and I witnessed all of that. Then, I said you are arguing with everyone that comes in the door! I feel bad for Shelly, something horrible must be going on in her life for her to hate the customers.

Disliked: 250/night. Hair in tube. Rusty shower curtain rode. Burnt marks in rug. Broken security latch. Broken towel rack with nowhere to hang wet towels. 2 electric sockets dont work. Elevator never vac all weekend. A coffee pot would have been nice.

Liked: This property is the absolute best location while visiting Liberty University especially during graduation as you can walk everywhere.
Disliked: The inside decor is dated. But the location makes up for that.

Superb

Liked: the fridge and sink for that size room was really nice to have, also enjoyed the TV to watch a couple movies. Mattress was pretty comfortable as well.
Disliked: Overall everything was good, the only thing i can really say that I sort of found odd was how the fridge/freezer doors opened; the handles are really close to the wall so it was a bit awkward of a reach to open them.
