Great room

Liked: Room was large and comfortable. Ac worked great

Liked: The lobby was clean and inviting.
Disliked: The room was dated and needed some updating. The kitchenette could use some new paint. The refrigerator had rust spots on the side and was noisy. The bathtub caulking was discolored, shower head trim was missing, and the tube was chipped in multiple places. The mattress was very uncomfortable.

Disliked: It was very run down. People loitering around the property. The room doors did not have secure locks. I left immediately because I did not feel safe.

Liked: Location was perfect for NRG access
Disliked: I have NEVER had a key get messed up this many times. Literally, every time I left it would deactivate. One night I left the room to grab a charger out of the truck close to 11 pm and it locked me out and I had to wait outside my door for 4 hours until shift change came in and let me in. Rooms were nasty, toilet was disgusting, shower wouldn’t drain, tile was falling off walls, none of the exterior door entries worked for ANYONE. Staff did what they could to accommodate me but the facility is just awful.

Our stay was great even...

Liked: I liked that when our ac unit stopped working late at night (about 1am) and told the front desk they were able to move us rooms in a matter of minutes. After the front clerk needed to call the manager since it was after office hours I thought they were going to have an issue since it was late but they were very generous. The other room was definitely an upgrade and we definitely appreciated the nice gesture for the inconvenience. Although I never told any staff or added in description when booking I did have my son who is disabled (has very sensitive condition when it comes to heat) with me for an appointment nearby the hotel (Texas Childrens Hospital) so I was very appreciative we didn't have any issues after I addressed my issues. Thank you very much.
Disliked: Everything was great no issues minus the problem with our ac unit.

Liked: Good location to go to hospitals
Disliked: It was horrible!! To start, they changed my room because they told me that the one I had reserved smell really bad.When we entered the new room, the bed sheets and blankets were dirty, as if they hadn't put clean sheets.We had to go ask for new ones, and they told us they didn't have any blankets because they hadn't washed them and they were all dirty.All this happened when we arrived. At night, lots of little cockroaches started coming out, and the worst part they were flying roaches!!!!!! All night long, they flew around the room like mosquitoes. It was horrible!!!!!!It was the worst for my daughter since we came to Houston for doctor's appointments and couldn't even rest or relax.
