Extended Stay America Select Suites - Gainesville - I-75

Needs to be remodeled and need to have more no smoking room. The outside looks good but the rooms need improvement.

Liked: It was just one night.
Disliked: Not what I expected.

Disliked: The bed sheets were dirty, the smell of the was bad, it was a terrible experience

Liked: Honestly only the staff. The room was absolutely awful.
Disliked: The tub was not cleaned properly, I could see a residue from the previous person taking a bath in the tub. My toilet seat had burn marks and the toilet inside was gross. There was a big Lougee on my window I can go on n on.

Disliked: There were a lot of men hanging around the hotel, smoking weed and it made my wife and daughter very uncomfortable. The bathroom and fridge were disgusting, the room was very old and there were dead roaches all over the floor.

Disliked: This place was filthy . I had to buy cleaning supplies and a swifter mop for the floors. You say hotel I say half way house . From the linens(stains & holes) to the bathroom (2 towels 2 dingy washes clothes one bar of soap) to the filthy floors . I've never stayed at an extended stay that was this bad. You had to spend $39.99 to cook for a fry pan & spatula? And it was $19.99 for one place setting .Between the unhoused , imigrants, and transience, the noise of comings and goings all night long was ridiculous. Stay anywhere but here. We weren't even able to "checkout" the lobby was closed . Had to put keys thru a slot in the door . Never ever again.

Liked: Kitchen in the suites. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly!
Disliked: Room wasn't as clean as it should be. There was no pool. Hallways definitely need to be pressure washed.

Horrific

Disliked: The sheets on the bed were stained with black mold! Still haven’t been credited my refund.

Won’t be staying here again.

Liked: Location was convenient. Price was affordable but should be less compared to the quality of the hotel.
Disliked: Exterior and elevator was really run down and dirty. Room was decently clean but kitchen area floor was sticky and one of the beds had a bunch of hairs in the sheets.

Liked: The ONLY THING was the staff clerk was friendly and nice.
Disliked: First I do not understand why the front desk was closed. We got there, and had to use a courtesy phone in a box outside the front desk. Speak with someone who said they would TRY to contact the on duty staff. The walkway was incredibly dirty and stained. The room had an unusual odor. The furnishings were very updated. The refrigerator had rushed on the side that was visible. The air conditioner made a loud noise every time the compressor kicked on.
