The Spotlight on Euro Hotel

Classic Georgian Charm Just Steps from King’s Cross

Modern convenience meets historic London at the Euro Hotel, a charming stay set in a beautiful Georgian crescent. Just a few minutes’ walk from King's Cross and St Pancras Stations, this recently refurbished hotel blends period architecture with cozy, budget-friendly comfort. With leafy views over Cartwright Gardens and a peaceful vibe, it’s an ideal base for a music-filled city escape.

Why Concert-goers love it

Location is everything, and the Euro Hotel delivers with its central spot in Bloomsbury. You’re within walking or quick tube distance from major venues in Camden, Islington, and the West End. After the show, the quiet residential setting makes it easy to wind down. Late check-in from 13:30 is ideal for early arrivals, and the 11:00 check-out gives you time to recover the next day. With excellent public transport links, getting back late is rarely a problem.

Who this Hotel is great for

Groups of friends looking for affordable, well-located accommodation
Solo concert-goers exploring London’s live music scene
Couples planning a romantic weekend with a show
Fans wanting a quiet, central base to relax after the music ends
Budget-conscious travelers who don’t want to sacrifice quality for price

Food and Drink Options

Enjoy a full English or continental breakfast each morning in the bright dining room — perfect after a late night. While there’s no on-site restaurant or bar, the area is packed with walkable dining options, from quick bites to cozy pubs. You’re also close to King’s Cross for late-night snacks and cafés.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself is a peaceful retreat, you’re never far from the action. Head to nearby Camden for buzzing live music venues and bars, or explore Covent Garden and Soho’s club scene. Want something more low-key? The area has plenty of relaxed pubs and wine bars to toast the night.

What People Say

Guests love the hotel’s quaint historic charm and quiet surroundings, especially given its central location. Many mention the friendly staff, clean rooms, and the convenience of being close to both transport and attractions. The free Wi-Fi is also a bonus for planning your night out or sharing your concert moments.

Areas for Improvement

Some rooms are a bit compact, and not all have private bathrooms, so check when booking. There’s no elevator, which might be a consideration if you’re carrying heavy luggage after a gig. Still, most guests find the charm and location well worth it.

The Bottom Line

Euro Hotel is a cozy, well-located gem that offers easy access to London’s music scene with a peaceful place to recharge after the lights go down.

Bad

Liked: Not a lot
Disliked: More or less everything. It is a very basic hotel. The only thing going for it is the location. How it got a 3 star rating I have no idea. 2 star at best.

It was really just a...

Liked: I booked the hotel due to it's proximity to King's Cross Train Station
Disliked: The room had a significant slope to the floor, when lying in bed I felt like my feet were elevated. I realize these buildings are old, they could switch the bed around so that the head is at the top of the slope. This would be much more comfortable

Liked: The breakfast was made to order and fresh.
Disliked: The rooms are small. Adequate for a short stay. No elevator. Stairs only. This is something I will need to consider in future travels as I find it more difficult to carry my luggage up two flight of stairs.

This is a good and...

Liked: Clean, good breakfast that was included. It was very safe and had a lot of other families there. Didn’t feel like a shady or dirty hotel. Very close to everything.
Disliked: No air conditioning and I know London isn’t known for being a hot place but it was over 90 degrees the entire time we were there and no ac was rough. Most places didn’t as well.

It was a convenient and...

Liked: Great location, close to St Pancras Station (we arrived from Paris by the Eurostar train) and an easy walk to the rental car garage, also a manageable walk to the Russell Square tube station. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is bright and cheery with a good breakfast selection. The rooms were clean but basic.
Disliked: The rooms are smaller and basic with no Air Conditioning, and there is no elevator..Because it’s London it’s quite a bit more expensive than an equivalent hotel in Paris, the room taxes alone add a huge cost.Overall I thought the room cost was expensive for the size of the room and for the basic room amenities.
