Shannon , Brechin, visiting Barrowland Ballroom

Was a big room and it was clean; the room was very cheap and it was good for the price, just for one night. Easy to get to concert venue.

Liked: Big room; clean; efficient; easy to get to Barrowlands.
Disliked: Had to make own bed, and no WiFi in room.

Fine, but needs a deep...

Liked: Good location and handy for getting to and from glasgow airport for early flights (as close to airport bus stops).
Disliked: Cleaning standards not great (were better at previous stay). Bedroom needs a deep clean and bathroom was filthy. Large social area and shared kitchen also need cleaned.

Clean like snow

Liked: Cleaner than most of hotels. Bedwear fresh and white like snow. Each bed has lamp with light and socket for charging phones.
Disliked: Too many people in one dormitory room.

Very good

Liked: Bargain price. Great central location. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: Read the small print and take photo ID or you will not be allowed to check in. This almost happened to me, but was fortunately able to get a photo of my driving licence, which staff were initially reluctant to even accept.
