Great location. Be aware rooms...

Liked: Very convenient to NYC attractions. Fresh towels daily.
Disliked: Elevator lines could get very long (only 3 elevators)When we got to the property we were charged a $30.00 per day fee that was not mentioned in the booking. Fee was “recouped “ if you spent $ 30.00 on their bar or food. Food was expensive and there were 3 of us, so credit wasn’t practical. Also, it could only be used in the evenings, and not in their snack shop.Room was small and cramped. Too small for 2 adults and 1 teen.Skydeck could not be used as advertised because it had been turned into a movie theater venue.

Nice hotel, nicer employees

Liked: We came from 7 days 5* hotel in NYC to Embassy. The reviews and fotos looked very good. I try not to compare the hotels as it would be unfair to Embassy. We stayed in a Junior Suite with Empire State Building View. The size of the room was ok / good, it had ironing board, Safe and a refridgerator. Size of bathroom was ok. Room was overall clean.What i recognized, everyone from the hotel was nice and welcoming, the cleaners and others greated us if they see us. That was a nice experience.We did not use the breakfast, it was mostly simple and as we are NON-US we are used to other things at breakfast. But the times we checked the room was full. We also did not use the happy hour / snacks thing in the evening. If this is complementary due to the ressort fee (nothing against Hilton but i cannot stand ressort fee as its a bit of a scam) then fine, but we did not need it.The waiting times for the elevator was ok / good. Did not take longer then 3-4 mins max.
Disliked: Maybe its me but i was excited sleeping with ESB view. The windows were dirty (thats definetely a minus) but in general the view was fine. Over all its still only a high building with lights on. So the excitement went away a bit quick. Not sure if this values 450 bucks a night.

Excellent stay and would definitely...

Liked: Loved the room size, newness of the property, location and cleanliness of the hotel.
Disliked: The elevators took forever to come and we mostly ended up using the stairs. Luckily we were on the 5th floor. The concierge had a lot of rush with long lines to the elevator. It might make sense to have another concierge that's paid for those that want a bit of exclusivity and are willing to pay for it.
