loved the location and comfort

Liked: perfect location right in midtown manhattan, 10mts walk to many tourist spots and penn station for trains to airport, range of food options in area, friendly helpful service, great breakfast, daily meal voucher and complimentary drinks, luggage storage and airport taxi facility.
Disliked: long wait at reception for check in and out or even any enquiry, need more agents at desk. long wait for elevators, we were on lower floors so sometimes took stairs.dining area gets very busy during breakfast and drinks with waiting for tables, but generally keeps moving. our door keycard device was broken and once we needed toilet paper….service was slow but reliable.bartenders service and courtesy not great.way too many taxes on bill.

Liked: Rooms were big and staff were exceptionally nice.
Disliked: Elevators slow and free breakfast was cramped and not great food. Dining area was dirty

Disappointing. Never again

Liked: Staff was very helpful and kind.
Disliked: The room was decent but very cramped up. Pictures had balcony but there was not any. The most disappointing part was food! Breakfast area was sooooooo cramped up for a hote with 35 floors! You could not have accommodate even 10 families at a time. The complimentary drinks and the ones you compulsorily charged $30 for were unfair and felt like scam because there was no non alcoholic option. Well you had soda but is it fair for $30? No mocktails? No juices? Not all of us drink alcohol!! There were so much of hidden costs! Very disappointing!The breakfast quality was so poor. Have you tasted your pancakes ? Sooʻo dry and hard. Omlettes felt like sand paper! The spread was soooo beggarly!I am surprised it is by the Hilton! The entrance area is even sooo tiny like a budget hotel. Grossly disappointed and not worth the money.

Superb

Disliked: We booked 2 rooms (king with sofa bed) and arrived at the hotel midnight. Unfortunately, one of the rooms that they gave to us is not yet clean. We waited an hour for them to give us a new room, the new room is fine but the couch on that room is not even a sofa bed.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel....

Liked: The bed was very comfortable and the set up of the room was great for us traveling with our teenage son. The bonus of the “happy hour” was surprising and the staff that we came in contact with were very friendly.
Disliked: Our room didn’t get made up after the first night so we had used up all of our towels and had to hunt down some new ones. We did ask the front desk the next morning and they came that day while we were gone.
