Ely Hotel by Greene King Inns

Passable. But not great.

Liked: Just refurbished - up to date mostly - location. Price. Room was nice and big
Disliked: Breakfast was horrendous. Lock didn’t work properly so had to out iron against door to be sure. Was on the ground floor as a solo female traveller and no air conditioning but couldn’t open windows over night for safety.

Perfect!

Liked: Very clean, very comfortable, plenty of additional things like hairdryer, kettle, tea & coffee and fresh milk. And a fan in the room for warm evenings. Spacious bed, lovely bathroom. Just what we wanted. The Ely pub/restaurant was perfect. Great food, very good value and excellent service from the pub staff!

Clean and adequate. Good value.

Liked: Really good value for a two ppl over night with breakfast (£77). Breakfast was oretty poor, perfectly edible but poor selection, many ingredients missing so half the menu not possible, but the room was cheap so I won’t grumble too much. Hotel is behind the restaurant away from road so bisy road noise wasn’t a problem.
Disliked: Breakfast - generally poo.
