Nice property for a short...

Liked: Very friendly staff, helped with any advice or tips we needed.Good food choice. Lovely heathland walks directly from the hotel. Good parking facilities. Good size accommodation. Despite being on a main and busy road the room was very comfortable. Nice for a couple of nights if attending a function etc.
Disliked: Mattress a little soft for our liking, a couple of bottles of water in the room would have ben nice and a toilet brush in the bathroom always preferable.

Disliked: I did ask for 5 people in 3 rooms on a bed and breakfast basis but got 2 rooms on bed and breakfast and 1 with no food at all, don't know how that happend but had to pay for 6 breakfasts.

Good hotel and could be...

Liked: Helen who served our food was very pleasant and a great member of staff.The room.wss nice with everything you need.The location is good and it's nice and quiet.It has a big garden with plenty of seating and it allows dogs.
Disliked: The room could have been cleaned better,quiet alot of cob webs and even the mirror had alot of dust!.The bar staff upon arrival seemed more interested in their conversation that the fact we were stood there waiting to be served.

Nice hotel but shame about...

Liked: Great location
Disliked: We were woken at 5am by slamming of Doors/ cupboards from room above. This went on for 3 hours so we think it must have been a staff store room.

Liked: This place is very convenient for when I visit the area, staff friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The mobile signal was poor and while they offer free internet the service was impossibly slow in room 8. I stayed when the weather was very hot and there was no air conditioning or fridge in the room. The windows opened a little but it was not a comfortable night.
