Good hotel for convenience

Liked: Lovely lady on the front desk. Managed to give me a upgrade from a single to a double. Hotel is very nice, lovely decor in the common areas and the rooms. Room was great size with tea and coffee ready. A iron, trouser press and hair dryer were in the room if I wantedVery nice location. Only 5 mins to the station, 10 to the beach. Great location for seeing my daughter that's at the uni. Plenty of room to park the car
Disliked: Bathroom in my room was a disaster, loo flushed on first visit and not again, shower wasn't great and the tap sprayed water in multiple locations. Not sure when the windows were cleaned as some one had been kissing it as there was lip prints on the insideAlso no WiFi connection which was a shame.

Close to facilities, clean comfortable...

Liked: Close to Rail station to walk, easy to walk to venture nearby or taxi. Comfy spacious room and had been upgraded. Good comes before hand, helpful staff. As no restaurant they provided leaflets of places to eat with personal tips of favourites. Has pool area but didn’t get time to use.
Disliked: Shower was very hard to switch on/off.

Comfortable and quiet stay with friendly staff in a good location.

Liked: The health club and the swimming pool were great. The peace and quiet and overall comfort of the room. Night porters were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The shower had a poor flow in the bedroom. Wall paper was a little tatty.
