Disliked: First, not all the elevators were working so there was always a wait to go up and down. Second, the shower knob fell off for no reason. For almost $600 weeks expected better.

Liked: Location was nice, the room was very nice . It had a very nice view. The room came with a good size refrigerator , mini stove, which I was surprised as well as microwave and a dishwasher . We were able to get to our locations just by walking without using public transportation.
Disliked: ELEVATORS!! . We were informed by the hotel before we got there about one elevator being down at the moment. There were two more elevators available, but the wait time on trying to catch The elevator was awful. At times when the elevator did arrive on our floor, we weren’t able to get on because it was jampacked and would have to wait for the next one hoping it was less empty.

Disliked: Elevators! Only 2 of the 3 working, and not enough for a hotel of that size. 2 out of 3 days we had to walk down 39 floors of stairs because the lift never arrived. Sometimes waited 15mins and it kept overriding our button press so it never stopped at our floor

Liked: All the staff at the hotel are very helpful and professional. The staff running the breakfast room keep everything well stocked. Breakfast was included in the price of our room. You have to accept that breakfast is a practical affair and not a four star hotel buffet breakfast but it is efficient and there is hot food, cereals, bagels, bread, fruit and the coffee is good - all you need to set you up for the day, eaten off paper plates with plastic knives and forks but we were more than happy to eat there every day. A bonus is that from 5pm till 6.30pm you can grab a beer or glass of wine and snacks (when we were there it was cheese, bread and olives) which we did on two evenings which was very welcome after a long day visiting. I think this is only from Monday to Thursday. When we were there one of the 3 lifts was out of service but at peak times a member of staff controlled each of the other lifts and we didn't find the wait too long. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to Port Authority subway and 10 minutes to Time Square subway and within walking distance of lots of places you will want to visit so for that reason we liked the location. There is a good restaurant just across the road from the hotel called Latitude 39, we ate there twice as this was practical after lots of walking during the day. Our room was very clean, water bottles were left for us each day and room serviced every other day. We didn't use the kitchenette - there was a full size fridge, small dishwasher, sink, 2 electric hob rings and cooking equipment - to be honest I would have preferred more space in the room, but mention in case useful for others. There was also a small ironing board and iron. Bed was comfortable and there was a black out blind. Efficient and safe system for leaving luggage on departure day.
Disliked: Our room was an interconnecting room and the adjoining room was occupied on the first night we stayed. We could hear the conversation of the people in the room even the hair dryer. Fortunately on the other nights the room was not occupied so it seemed that the hotel only use these rooms when needed. Suggest you request NOT to have an interconnected room. I am not sure why there were two large desks in our room. This limited space. You wouldn't be able to have two suitcases open in this room, not enough floor space. Just like your fridge at home, the fridge makes a noise but at home your fridge isn't in your bedroom. I hadn't really understood from the description how the kitchenette would impact the room. Great facility for some, but we didn't need it. Nothing mentioned here would stop us staying here again if the price was good.

Disliked: The fact that the serious problems with the elevator were communicated late and were downplayed. It is serious. There were times that I had to wait 20 minutes, on a very high floor.
