Great location for the price will stay here again on our next visit. Room was clean and staff was very helpful.

Liked: Ideal location and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Modern with all the facilities that you needed. Breakfast was good, quickly and easy options for you to get going for a long day of exploring. Staff were very helpful and informative.
Disliked: One of the elevators was under improvement whilst we were this which meant that waiting for the lift took a little longer than usual.

Ruined our Vacation at Newyork

Liked: Location was good, couple of blocks away from 42nd Street
Disliked: This is not a hotel , its a hostel. Only suitable for bachelors, who wants to do some exercise ( Climbing up and Down , around 40 floors , depends on your floor number) . Strictly not viable for family. The reason is that one lift never works. You need to wait ages to go down or go up. When you press the lift button, smart people can override your request. So you left alone waiting for others mercy, if you don't know the technique (2) Just after the cancellation period is over , their general manager , Marie Dessources contacted us and stated that , one lift is not working and but am here for all help. We requested lower floor, since we were with smaller kids and she never honoured the request. Its just an eye wash. So just be cautious. (3) Break fast- Another joke. Don't expect too much , you can just eat. We stopped going after a while. McD Break fast is better than this hostel (Hotel) BF. (4) Kick back Drink - They offer one glass of Beer at around 5 pm during week days. Its very hard to get the same , since its long queue. At 6, they just close, stating now time is over. People in queue are just fools. My recommendation is , spend some couple of Dollars and get a Beer from 7 Eleven , just opposite to this hostel(Hotel). In short, I do not recommend this Hotel. Try to keep it as your last option.

Tired and Not What it...

Liked: The location is slightly away from the craziness of Times Square, which was great.
Disliked: I have stayed here twice previously and been very happy. Since then, the hotel has gotten tired and tatty. One of our bedside lamps was dangling, the shower leaked through a corner leak onto the bathroom floor, and yes, right in the middle of busy season, the hotel decided to refurbish one of its elevators leaving two elevators hopelessly inadequate. Thank God we chose the 3rd floor and took the steps instead. When I tried to report the bathroom issue to an elderly front desk manager, he was confrontational and abrupt. The doormen never smiled and appeared rather intimidating. Sad to say, my next visit will not include this hotel.

Affordable clean location for a...

Liked: The location was great. The view from our room superb. Super touristy, and maybe not the best part of town but my daughter and I felt safe in the city that never sleeps walking back at 10:30 at night in summer. It was close to the subway and we had a fantastic view. I was concerned being opposite the lifts in the evening but we didn’t hear a thing.
Disliked: Depends who you ask, my daughter though they had the most comfortable bed ever, but it was to soft for me.

Just want a discount for...

Liked: I am a delta employee and I was recommended by my employer to go here I guess u guys change management and the first room they give me was smelling bad then the 2rd room when I take a shower it started to floor the room they told me I will get a discount for the inconvenience but I never did get it
Disliked: Do not like the rooms they give me very smelly
