Liked: Beautiful guest house, Josie was so helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The rooms were so tidy and had everything we needed. It is about a 9 min walk to the front of Southport. The breakfast was plentiful. Just cannot say enough. Very comfortable, clean. Would highly recommend this guest house 100%

A gem of a hotel

Liked: The hotel is located in a quiet street a few minutes walk from the promenade and beach. There is ample free parking. A lot of thought has gone into preparing a dossier on the hotel and its surroundings. I asked the lady about local restaurants and she pointed me in the right direction. I ended up eating at a French restaurant in Lord Street, but there are a wide range of choices nearby. My room was a single, so I did not expect a large room, but it was very comfortable. Excellent shower. Good wifi. Breakfast was also really good, with plenty of choice and lovely coffee. I had a warm welcome and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
Disliked: The fact that I could only stay one night!

Liked: Lovely host, good selection of breakfast items and generous with the coffees and teas provided. Cosy feeling from the minute you enter the building and get greeted by the host. This feeling extended to my room and the homely breakfast eating area.
Disliked: If I *really* tried to nitpick, the mattress had a slight dent in it, but otherwise the place was spotless
