Liked: Stayed here 7 years ago with my girlfriend, returned with my kids. Now in one of the apartments, which was spacious, comfortable and though streetside quiet. The hotel itself offers nice breakfast, lounge and the rooftop terrace is the bonus. Situated in the heart of El Raval. Hidden gem.
Disliked: When it comes on the details, compared to 7 years ago the staff was less personal and the hotel lost a bit of its bohemian vibe. Furthermore, English guests in the room above us left in the middle of night making so much noise it woke up me and my family. In general, ranquile place.

Liked: Location was amazing, and the property itself was so cute!! We were so excited to stay here!!
Disliked: The staff that checked us in looked haggard and didn’t quite know what he was doing. We let him know that 2 additional people were with us, as my husband and son decided to join us on this trip, and handed him our 5 passports. We got checked in, even though we were confused as to why we were getting 2 hotel rooms. We showed him our reservation saying we booked a 2 bedroom apartment and he kind of waved us off and sent us on our way. While at dinner we received a message saying that there was a mistake and to report to the hotel. We arrived back around 11:30pm to find they had removed all of our belongings from the rooms and the host started yelling at us about us having checked in with 5 people when our reservation was only for 3. We were shocked, we continued to explain that my husband and son had decided to join us last minute and that we had let him know and checked in with all 5 passports and that our 3 boys were only going to be with us that 1 evening as they were moving to a hotel with their soccer teammates for a tournament the next day. We then were told we would have to pay a €60 fee for each additional guest or pay for another room. By this time it was almost midnight, we just paid for the other room and went to bed. The whole experience was just awful, and made the first part of our trip a big bummer. I wouldn’t have minded this conversation when we first checked in, I wouldn’t have minded paying extra that was what I expected anyways but to be treated that way after the fact and so late at night with my teenage boys next to us. It was just sad. 😔

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful hotel, flexible check in. The yoga mats are a nice touch!
Disliked: Would have been nice to have a fridge in the room

Disliked: The room is simply overpriced for what it is, at 350€ per night. Very basic, uncomfortable beds, ants in kitchen.

Liked: Location and common spaces were nice. Coffee machine 24hours was also very helpful. Cleaning was ok. Staff were friendly.
Disliked: We stayed for 3 nights. 2 days there was maintenance in the back “yard” starting at 08.30-19.00. We couldn’t sleep from the noise. Also cleaning of the rooms started at 08.30 and again we woke up from the noise. In general, no sound isolation between the rooms, the ceiling was low and the balcony faces a high wall. All together it was a bit claustrophobic and didn’t really enjoy our stay
