Liked: Lovely peaceful location
Disliked: Our room was a bit grubby. There was a napkin under the bedside from a previous occupant. Skirtings in the bathroom were dusty. Dead spider under the dressing table. Looked like it needed a good clean

Disliked: It was not a 4 star hotel. It was very expensive for what we got. The room was not well prepared and the Hepburn had many cobwebs.

Liked: Very pretty gardens and food was overall very good , staff mainly kind helpful and polite with one exception .
Disliked: Room hadn't been properly cleaned there was a broken toy and plastic bag from previous occupants under a table and service was very, very slow . One member of staff told .me I haven't asked them to make up sofa bed although that's precisely why I d booked a family room . Of course she eventually got them to make the room up. . More of a wedding % conference venue not geared for small bookings . Food was good but sirloin at bar very tough. Also windows barely open and other than a fan there is no way to keep the room cool enugh in Summer noA/C

Disliked: Rooms need air conditioning, was uncomfortably warm in our room

Great wedding venue but shocking...

Liked: Impressive building with great facilities.
Disliked: Room was extremely small and incredibly hot. No aircon. Two useless fans. No toiletries in bathroom. Bed was uncomfortable. In summary awful room with no toiletries.
