Step into understated British charm at Durrants Hotel, a delightful 18th-century property tucked away in the peaceful Marylebone neighborhood. Just a 5-minute stroll from Oxford Street and within walking distance of Marble Arch Underground Station, this hotel blends traditional elegance with modern convenience. With its antique furnishings, cozy fireplaces, and warm hospitality, it’s a refined retreat in the heart of London.
Concert-goers appreciate Durrants Hotel for its quiet location that’s still incredibly central. You’re just a short walk or tube ride from many of London’s top music venues, yet far enough away to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. The 24-hour room service is a lifesaver after a late gig, and the hotel’s classic bar offers a mellow space to unwind post-show. With flexible transport links nearby, getting to and from events is hassle-free.
After a night out, enjoy 24/7 room service or relax with a drink in the elegant lounge bar. Durrants Restaurant offers refined dining options, and there are plenty of walkable eateries in the Marylebone area for a late bite. If you’ve had a late night, you’ll appreciate breakfast served at a leisurely pace the next morning.
While Durrants itself leans more toward quiet sophistication, you’re just minutes from buzzing nightlife in Soho and Fitzrovia. Whether you prefer a craft cocktail bar or a laid-back pub with local flavor, options abound. The hotel bar is ideal for a nightcap in a calm setting.
Guests love the hotel’s old-world charm, calling it “quintessentially British” and “a hidden gem.” Many highlight the friendly staff, spotless rooms, and convenient location near shops, eateries, and transport. The lounge and public areas are praised for being cozy and inviting—perfect for pre- or post-concert relaxation.
Some rooms do not have air conditioning, so warm nights might be a bit stuffy. The traditional decor may feel a bit dated to those used to modern minimalism—but for many, that’s part of the charm. There’s no on-site gym or spa, but most concert-goers are too busy soaking in the city’s energy to mind.
Durrants Hotel is perfect for music fans who want central London access with a peaceful, elegant place to recharge after the show.

Poor Standard for the price.
Liked: Decor and table set up in the resturant
Disliked: Shower didn't work properly. Toilet was blocked. Needs a new bathroom suite. Breakfast very expensive and not cooked fresh. Staff when we arrived wasn't very friendly. Not what you expect when paying 380 pound a night

Old Britain at its best.
Liked: Location is unbeatable, just off Marylebone high st,, the Wallace collection. a class area with a village feel. The staff can't do enough for you.
Disliked: The Durrants is a grand old British lady that could use a bit of an update. Having said that, I stay there regularly and will continue to do so.
